What We Model in Revit
With a Revit model, you keep geometry, materials, and documentation in one file that is easy to update when the design changes.
- Revit families. Parametric models of your furniture and products, ready for BIM projects and manufacturer catalogs. That line runs as Revit family creation services, and it never sits idle.
- Buildings. Architectural models for design and documentation. Most clients order this as BIM drawing services and get the full sheet set back.
- Interiors for Revit models. Full interior filling of building models: furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
- Scan to BIM. We build the Revit model from your point cloud: structure, openings and services traced by hand to the tolerance you agree in advance. Point cloud to BIM services run at the same hourly rate as the rest of the desk.

A Revit family works both as a 3D presentation of your product and as a source of accurate drawings. When a designer places your family in a project, your product gets specified. Who Uses Our Revit Modeling Services
Most of the Revit work we get comes from five kinds of teams. Each one wants something a bit different from the model, but the reason they send it out is almost always the same: there aren’t enough modeling hours in the week.
Architects
Your people stay on design and client meetings. We take your drawings, sketches or a DD set and build the model on your template, with your view names, your sheet sizes and your schedules. When it comes back, it opens like a file somebody in your office started.
Interior designers
If the interiors live in a separate file, someone ends up copying changes by hand. We put finishes, millwork and furniture into the architect’s model and pull the ceiling plans, elevations and finish schedules out of it. Move a wall and every sheet that shows it moves too.
Contractors
Tell us what LOD your BIM execution plan asks for and we model to that. Quantities and schedules should match what you actually order, and we check that they do. IFC and NWC files go to your coordinator. After the clash report, we fix whatever is on our side.
Manufacturers
A designer will only spec your product if there is a family to drop in. We build Revit families from your catalog with clean geometry, sensible types and shared parameters, and we keep the setup the same from the first product to the last one.
Existing buildings
For renovation work the model has to show what is really on site. We model from your point cloud, or take old DWG sets and rebuild them in Revit, so nobody on the design team has to redraw the existing conditions.

What Our Revit BIM Modeling Services Deliver
“A Revit model” can mean almost anything. Some studios send the RVT and that’s it. Unless you ask for something else, this is what you get from us:
- the RVT, saved down to whatever Revit version you’re on;
- printable sheets with plans, sections, elevations and details, all pulled from the model;
- schedules for doors, windows, rooms, finishes or furniture;
- an IFC export that we open and look through before sending, and NWC too if your coordinator uses Navisworks;
- every family as its own RFA file, so you can use it again on the next job;
- DWG and PDF copies of the sheets for consultants who don’t work in Revit.
Detail goes as far as you need it. That might be massing for a feasibility study, a full documentation model, or product families with every parameter filled in. Revit BIM services cost $25 an hour, and two rounds of revisions are part of the price.

Revit Modeling FAQ
What is Revit modeling?
Revit modeling is drawing a building once, as objects instead of lines. A wall in Revit is not four strokes, it is a wall: it knows its height, its layers, what it costs. Move it and the floor plan, the sections and the door schedule quietly fix themselves. People call the result BIM, because behind the pretty 3D sits a database the whole team pulls numbers from.
What do your BIM modeling services include?
You get a model people can coordinate against, not just geometry. Parameters are filled, schedule totals are right, and we open the IFC and NWC exports ourselves before they leave. We don’t run clash detection. That job needs every discipline’s model in one place, so it sits with your BIM coordinator. Once the report comes in, we fix the items that belong to our model. Revit BIM modeling services are $25 an hour, first two revision rounds included.
What level of detail do you model?
The level your project requires: from concept mass models to production-ready families with exact dimensions, materials, and parameters.
Which Revit version do you work in?
We work in the version your project requires. Tell us the target version, and the files will open in your environment without upgrades.
Do you offer scan to BIM services?
Yes, the modeling half of it. You arrange the laser scan locally, since surveying is its own trade and it has to happen on site, then send us the point cloud in E57, RCP, RCS, LAS or PTS. We trace structure, openings and services out of it and hand back a Revit model at the tolerance and LOD you specify, usually somewhere between 10 and 25 mm. Happy to tell your surveyor what coverage the model will need before they turn up, which saves a second visit more often than you would think.
Do you offer CAD to BIM modeling services?
Yes. If your project exists as 2D CAD drawings, we convert them into a full Revit model: parametric walls, floors, openings, and families instead of flat lines. Send us the DWG files, and we will estimate the hours at the standard $25 per hour BIM rate.
Can you convert our CAD drawings into a Revit model?
Yes. We regularly build Revit models from DWG drawings, PDFs, and even hand sketches with dimensions.
Can you create a whole catalog of families?
Yes. For product lines we set up shared parameters and naming rules first, so the whole catalog stays consistent and easy to maintain.
What is included in your Revit drafting services?
Sheets, schedules and views pulled straight from the model: plans, sections, elevations, details. Modeling and drafting are one job here, because the model produces the drawings. Both come at the same $25 per hour.
Do you provide Revit BIM services for contractors?
Yes. A contractor usually needs three things from us: the LOD written in the BIM execution plan, schedules that line up with the purchase orders, and IFC or NWC files the coordinator can load without problems. We work to your plan. Your team runs the coordination meetings and the clash checks, and whatever needs changing in our model comes back to us.
Is Revit a BIM program?
Yes, Revit is a BIM program. Autodesk makes it, and a lot of architecture firms in the US use it as their main tool. In AutoCAD you draw lines. In Revit you place a wall, and that wall has a height, layers and a type. Plans, sections and schedules all read from that one model, which is why our Revit modeling services come back with sheets and schedules and not only the model file.
How much does Revit modeling cost?
