Revit Modeling Services
Revit drafting and BIM modeling services: product families, buildings, interiors and scan to BIM from your point cloud
With a Revit model, you keep geometry, materials, and documentation in one file that is easy to update when the design changes.
For renovation work the model starts from a survey rather than a brief, and the full workflow is in our guide to point cloud to BIM. A Revit family works both as a 3D presentation of your product and as a source of accurate drawings. When a designer places your family in a project, your product gets specified. We wrote more about this in our article on using Revit for millwork projects.
You send us the task: product drawings, photos, dimensions, or a design concept.
We estimate the scope of work and send you a quote.
Our team builds the model and prepares drawings if you need them.
You get the native Revit files plus exports in the formats you use.
We build native Revit models and families in the version you need
Your project manager is always in touch, and model updates are handled quickly
Our team models buildings, interiors, and product families every day
Your product data is safe: we sign an NDA
Pay per project or hire one of our Senior Draftsmen full-time – and pay per month.
We charge $20/h for CAD and $25/h for BIM projects, with discounts for regular clients and large-scale tasks
Which Revit version do you work in?
We work in the version your project requires. Tell us the target version, and the files will open in your environment without upgrades.
Do you offer scan to BIM services?
Yes, the modeling half of it. You arrange the laser scan locally, since surveying is its own trade and it has to happen on site, then send us the point cloud in E57, RCP, RCS, LAS or PTS. We trace structure, openings and services out of it and hand back a Revit model at the tolerance and LOD you specify, usually somewhere between 10 and 25 mm. Happy to tell your surveyor what coverage the model will need before they turn up, which saves a second visit more often than you would think.
What do your BIM modeling services include?
A model somebody can actually coordinate with, not just a shape. Parameters filled in, schedules that add up, an IFC export that has been opened and checked, and NWC if the job runs through Navisworks for clash detection. Tell us the LOD and the BIM execution plan you work to and we build inside it. The rate is $25 per hour, and the first two rounds of revisions are included.
Can you create a whole catalog of families?
Yes. For product lines we set up shared parameters and naming rules first, so the whole catalog stays consistent and easy to maintain.
How much does Revit modeling cost?
We charge $25 per hour for BIM work. A single furniture family takes several hours, and a building or a full interior model takes longer. Send us the task and we will estimate it for free.
Can you convert our CAD drawings into a Revit model?
Yes. We regularly build Revit models from DWG drawings, PDFs, and even hand sketches with dimensions.
What level of detail do you model?
The level your project requires: from concept mass models to production-ready families with exact dimensions, materials, and parameters.
Do you also make renderings?
Yes. We produce renderings in V-Ray and Corona on top of 3ds Max and Revit models, so you can use the same model for both documentation and marketing images.
Do you offer CAD to BIM modeling services?
Yes. If your project exists as 2D CAD drawings, we convert them into a full Revit model: parametric walls, floors, openings, and families instead of flat lines. Send us the DWG files, and we will estimate the hours at the standard $25 per hour BIM rate.
What is included in your Revit drafting services?
Sheets, schedules and views pulled straight from the model: plans, sections, elevations, details. Modeling and drafting are one job here, because the model produces the drawings. Both come at the same $25 per hour.
Do you provide Revit BIM services for contractors?
Yes. Contractors usually need a coordination-ready model: the right LOD, an IFC export for clash detection, and schedules that match what actually gets ordered. We deliver all three, and we can work inside your BIM execution plan.
